Course Description

Discuss state-of-the-art ultrasound research. Analyze knowledge and skills gained in a diversity of ultrasound specialties as well as basic science. Apply information and skills acquired in the workplace to improve patient care.


Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the needs of multispecialty professionals in the field of ultrasound, including practicing physicians, sonographers, and other health professionals in addition to medical and allied health students and educators.

ARRT Category A Credit

The AIUM is a Recognized Continuing Education Evaluation Mechanism (RCEEM) for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The AIUM is the owner and sponsor of this activity. This activity is approved by the AIUM for 23.0 ARRT Category A credits. This CE activity may be available in multiple formats or from different CE sponsors. ARRT does not allow CE activities (e.g., Internet courses, home study programs, directed readings, and live lectures) to be repeated for CE credit in the same CE biennium.
