Similar to women, ultrasound is a valuable tool to assess the pediatric breast and ovaries. However, the pathologic lesions in a child differ from those in adults and normal development and variation can be mistaken for an abnormal process. Come learn the normal sonographic evaluation of the pediatric breast and ovaries, and when to follow-up or refer a young girl for further care.
