Towards Precision Neurointervention: Ultrasound advances for functional imaging and targeted neuromodulation
Tuesday, April 9, 2024
9:25am – 9:50am
Location: 400-402
In this talk, I will introduce functional ultrasound imaging as a high-sensitivity modality to identify clinically translatable biomarkers for image-guided neurointerventions. I will present our latest results using pharmacological functional imaging to map the neural responses to subanesthetic ketamine, and I will discuss recent advances in ultrasound neuromodulation and opportunities to develop closed-loop treatments.
