Undergraduate medical education has standardized curricula and objectives for a wide variety of topics, yet none for point-of-care ultrasound despite its growth and popularity amongst multiple specialties. This study aims to change that and propose specialty-specific point-of-care ultrasound milestones to guide fourth-year medical school curricula. A variety of ultrasound exams, pathologies, and procedures have been proposed by experts in several specialties, including Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Obstetrics and Gynecology.
