This is a case report of a teenage boy with an abdominal wall lump when lying flat thought to be a possible abdominal wall hernia when evaluated in clinic. But was it an abdominal wall hernia? This case highlights the importance of thoroughly evaluating areas adjacent to intra-abdominal masses when performing POCUS scans in the pediatric emergency department. It is an uncommon presentation in an uncommon age group of something we commonly see in the pediatric emergency department.
