Soft-tissue ultrasound is a common and popular use of ultrasound in the POC ED setting. We present a case of a traumatic pseudoaneurysm after penetrating trauma in a patient without remarkable physical examination findings. Unexpected US findings showed a the classic ying-yang color Doppler collection lateral to the femoral artery. The US diagnosis astutely facilitated the correct diagnosis and a challenging therapeutic course towards resolution. With the ubiquitous of penetrating trauma, ultrasound can provide another modality to diagnosis complications and diagnosis.
