Pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) ultrasound (US) fellowships were established over ten years ago, but recommendations for core content of these fellowships were not published until 2019. This qualitative study involved discussions with current PEM US fellowship directors to determine whether the core content recommendations were being met as well as facilitators and barriers to building a fellowship that meets the requirements.
