This retrospective, single-center study with a substantial patient cohort explores the relationship between cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP) implantation type, myometrial thickness, and the severity of placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) disorder. Remarkably, our findings highlight that type 1 CSPs are associated with a reduced risk of severe PAS disorder and demonstrate more favorable outcomes compared to type 2 CSPs. This research significantly bolsters our capacity to provide personalized risk counseling to our patients.
