Ultrasound has been well established for the evaluation of ocular complaints and is an incredibly powerful tool to augment the clinical data collection of an otherwise difficult examination. We present the case of young man who initially presented for an otherwise unrelated acute disease process and was found to have significant sequelae of his chronic disease. The use of point of care ultrasound was the key step to helping this patient re-establish vital care and prevent significant long term disability.
