The current standard for imaging liver lesions is MRI with hepatocyte-specific contrast (HCE-MRI), which may require sedation, is costly and uses gadolinium-based contrast. Contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) is a radiation-free, affordable, and accessible means of assessing liver lesions, making it an appealing alternative to HCE-MRI. This study evaluates the agreement between CEUS and HCE-MRI of solitary liver lesions and of each modality compared to final diagnosis.
