Peripheral nerve injury is a common condition that poses substantial challenges to patients due to sensorimotor impairment. HFUS techniques comprised of QUS and GLCM textural analysis were implemented in vivo to monitor degeneration and regeneration of nerves in a rat model of injury. Both BSC spectrum-based and GLCM-based strategies have potential for effective diagnosis of peripheral nerve degeneration and regeneration.
