As evidence emerges supporting the use of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in pediatric hospital medicine (PHM), there is a growing demand to incorporate POCUS education into PHM training and faculty development. To date, no guidelines exist to delineate which POCUS applications should be taught to and prioritized for pediatric hospitalists. In the first round of this modified Delphi study, 35 applications met expert consensus for inclusion within the scope of PHM practice, helping to define the educational and practice standards for the field.
