As the obesity pandemic increases, there are unique challenges that must be overcome to optimize patient care. This study analyzed the relationship between maternal body mass index as categorized by class (class III: BMI 40-49.9, class IV: BMI 50-59.9, class V: BMI ≥ 60) at initial prenatal visit and ultrasound detection of fetal and placental anomalies.
