Ingy Khattaby, M.D.,MSGH is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Khattaby completed a residency in obstetrics, gynecology, and infertility in New York City at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident of Education. Then became board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition, Dr. Khattaby earned a master’s degree in global health at Northwestern University.
Dr. Khattaby held leadership roles in Medical Education as well as Global Health. She served as the Director of Global Health Residency Rotations overseeing training for international residents in the U.S. and U.S. Ob/Gyn residents abroad. Her commitment to medical education earned her the role of Assistant Clerkship Director for Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stony Brook University Hospital through the Renaissance School of Medicine in New York.
Additionally, Dr. Khattaby served as a valued member of the Renaissance School of Medicine Curriculum Committee, contributing to the development and refinement of the medical school's curriculum.
Dr. Khattaby's dedication extended beyond borders as she delivered numerous lectures internationally in support of empowering and enhancing women's health in developing nations.
She is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the American Medical Association, and the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Khattaby speaks fluent Arabic and conversational Spanish and French. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and kids, traveling, running, and hiking.
