Barbara McFarlin PhD CNM RDMS is a Nurse Midwife Sonographer Researcher Professor Emerita at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Through years of clinical practice, her research has focused on working with engineers to find solutions to stubborn public health problems of preterm birth and maternal mortality. At Ultracon Dr. McFarlin is presenting her collaborative National Institutes of Health-funded study where we used Quantitative Ultrasound biomarkers to identify women at risk for preterm birth risk.
