Jonathan Rowland, MD (he/him/his)

Dr. Jonathan Rowland is an assistant professor in the department of emergency medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center and is the primary director of ultrasound for the department. He grew up in Del Valle, TX, went to the University of Texas at Austin for undergrad, then to the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio for medical school. He completed an EM residency in Detroit, MI at Sinai Grace Hospital and completed an emergency ultrasound fellowship at the University of California, Irvine. One of his main goals is to establish and maintain a robust point-of-care-ultrasound program to improve clinical care at MD Anderson. Outside interests include woodworking, running, sitting around a fire, and trying to be a good Dad to his 5-year-old daughter and 3-year-old boy.
