Emergency PGY 3
Rutgers RWJBH CMC
Lakewood, United States
Hello, my name is Dr. Karalee Bluhm, MD, and I am currently in the final year of my emergency medicine residency at RWJBH/Rutgers- Community Medical Center in Tom's River, NJ. Following the completion of my residency, I will be embarking on an ultrasound fellowship at the same institution.
My journey in the medical field began as a paramedic at a prestigious level 1 trauma center, where I honed my skills in emergency care. This experience, combined with my time working abroad in the rural outback, has instilled in me a passion for efficiently gathering crucial information in high-pressure situations. It is this passion that has drawn me to the field of ultrasound.
I am dedicated to continually expanding my knowledge and skill set in order to provide the best possible care to my patients. Through the use of ultrasound technology, I am eager to enhance my diagnostic capabilities and streamline the decision-making process in the fast-paced environment of the emergency department.
