Swapnil's area of research primarily focuses on improving prognosis of in-vivo imaging modalities. He uses signal/image processing technique with ultrasound imaging of breast cancer to identify hidden features, and study its correlation with longterm tumor response. Other than in-vivo imaging, he has experience in simulation of different types of acoustic scatterers and its effect on US imaging. He also has experience in programming a new imaging sequence with Verasonics, and other beamforming techniques.
