Dr. Jennifer Cotton MD is an emergency physician and emergency ultrasound faculty at the University of Utah. She completed an emergency ultrasound fellowship. She is the ultrasound curriculum director for the medical school at the University of Utah, which has a four year intergrated utlrasound curriculum. She is responsible for teaching medical students, residents in multiple specialties, emergency ultrasound fellows, and faculty from multiple specialties. She is the ultrasound curriculum director for a program that teaches point of care ultrasound to community physicians who workin rural, tribal, and underserved communities. She is also the program director for the Clinical Ultrasound Educators program that trains faculty across specialties to use point of care ultrasound.
