Dr. Michelle Lee is a pediatric emergency physician at the Hospital for Sick Children and an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. She received her medical degree at McGill University and completed her Pediatric residency at McMaster University. At the Hospital for Sick Children, she then completed both of her fellowships in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) as well as pediatric point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS). She has lectured nationally and internationally on the use of pediatric POCUS and various topics in PEM. She is currently the global outreach lead of the POCUS program, and her academic interests lie in the dissemination of POCUS amongst other medical technologies to low-resource settings for improving child health.
