Helen Feltovich is Professor and System Director of Ultrasound Quality and Education in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science, co-Director of the Blavatnik Family Women’s Health Research Institute and Director of its Center for Integrated Imaging and Bioengineering, at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She has a joint appointment in Medical Physics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she collaborates with Tim Hall and Ivan Rosado-Mendez, and also has a close collaboration with Krisitn Myers at Columbia University. She is currently on the Board of Governors of AIUM, the Board of the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine, and the Scientific Committee of the International Society for Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also a regular member of the NIH’s Clinical and Translational Imaging study section, and leads the SMFM’s Task Force on Artificial Intelligence in obstetric imaging. Her dream is that someday, through multi-model imaging and modelling, we will understand ancient unsolved mysteries like what initiates labor.
