Rebecca J. Etheridge, EdD holds the academic rank of Assistant Professor and serves as a Curriculum Specialist and Ultrasound Educator in the Department of Family and Community Medicine for the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University which is located in Augusta, Georgia. She is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (1993) and a Master of Health Education degree (2001). She completed her doctoral degree in Education with a major in Educational Innovation with a Curriculum and Instruction concentration at Augusta University in May 2019. She has 29 years of teaching experience with such learners as undergraduate sonography students, medical students, residents, fellows, and practicing physicians. Currently, she is developing competency-based outcomes objectives and evaluation methods for the MCG Department of Family and Community Medicine Residency Program. She also serves as an Ultrasound Educator in the MCG Center for Ultrasound Education.
