Margarita V Revzin, MD, MS currently serves as an Associate Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the Yale University School of Medicine. In addition to her expertise in vascular, abdominal, and gynecologic ultrasound, and emergency medicine, she brings vast experience in the field of radiologic education. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts and Master’s Degrees in Biology from New York University, Dr. Revzin received her MD degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Westchester County Medical Center, NY, a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Northwell University/Health System in Manhasset, NY, and a fellowship in Abdominal and Interventional Imaging at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. Dr. Revzin is certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology, is a fellow of the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound (SRU), and American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM). Dr. Revzin began her academic radiology career in 2009 as a clinical instructor at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. In 2010 she joined the Yale University School of Medicine, where she currently maintains her appointment as an Assistant Professor of Radiology. Dr. Revzin has received more than 40 awards including the RSNA Honored Educator Award x 4, from the RSNA, for contributions to medical educational in the field of Radiology. She has also received several teaching awards from her own institution. Dr. Revzin has published multiple peer reviewed articles, book chapters, original research, and has presented a number of scientific and educational exhibits. She is a frequently requested speaker. Dr. Revzin is currently serving on multiple national committees for organizations such as the RSNA, AIUM, SRU, SAR, ARRA, NERRS, and ACR. She is currently conducting several research projects in the fields of vascular, general, and gynecological ultrasound.
