Jonathan Henricks, MD - PGY-4 Emergency Medicine / Internal Medicine resident at The Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center.
I am originally from Baltimore, Maryland where I spent the majority of my life, and two gap years prior to medical school. During those years I was fortunate to work with incredible professors at the University of Maryland, helping to teach their physiology course, which has inspired my passion for education and human physiology.
I attended medical school at the University of Toledo College of Medicine in Toledo, Ohio, where I helped spearhead the University of Toledo's ultrasound interest group, and have been an avid user in my daily medical practice since.
Currently, I am a dual resident at the* Ohio State University, where I am fortunate to have an incredible complement of both emergency medicine and internal medicine mentors and friends, many of whom share an interest in ultrasound. I hope to use and build upon my understanding of ultrasound so that I can take better care of my patients, connect with co-residents, medical students, and patients on a deeper level, and see physiology in action! I plan on applying to pulmonary / critical care fellowship this upcoming year.
