Laura May Davis (MBChB, MA (Oxon), MSc, FRCR, MRCP); I am a Research Fellow in contrast ultrasound at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. My work focuses on both the clinical implications of contrast ultrasound (CEUS) and translational research in novel ultrasound techniques in the fetal and neonatal setting. Prior to working at CHOP, I underwent training in radiology and nuclear medicine in the UK, before moving to the US in July of 2023 to assume my current role. Recent projects have targeted the use of CEUS in pediatric liver lesions, examining this diagnostic approach relative to conventional imaging modalities, as well as characterizing lesion subtypes by CEUS enhancement pattern. I also have a strong interest in education and hope to broaden the use of CEUS into multi-organ areas by raising awareness of its multiple utilities.
