Kareem Hamadah, NRP, CCP-C, FP-C is a second-year medical student at the University of Kansas School of Medicine (KUSOM). Prior to medical school, he worked as a paramedic while attending the University of Kansas to obtain his undergraduate degrees in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and Psychology. He is passionate about medical education, emergency medicine, and pre-hospital and interfacility care. He has volunteered his time to teach pre-clinical medical students point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) as a part of the KUSOM curriculum. His research interests include POCUS, cardiac arrest management, medical education, and improving medical care for disabled patients.
