Miaoying completed her medical school training at her country and has been working on OBGYN ultrasound filed more than 15 years. Before she joined UCSD Health, Miaoying worked as a clinical and research sonography coordinator at OBGYN department, Columbia University, New York. During that period, Miaoying participated numerous NIH funded research projects, such as National Fetal Growth Study and Nulliparous Pregnancy Outcome Study. She acted as a key research sonographer at one of the study sites. Miaoying has published a few papers at peer-reviewed journals. In addition, Miaoying has been serving as a reviewer for high reputation journals, such as Obstetrical & Gynecology, Journal of Perinatal Medicine, et al. Besides strong passion on obstetrics ultrasound, Miaoying is interested in epidemiology as well, she finished her Master degree on epidemiology from Public Health School, Columbia University in 2017.
Miaoying joined Maternal Fetal Care and Genetic Care, UCSD Health since 2019. She enjoys the great team with cutting edge skill and amazing learning environment
