This talk will discuss the most common histologic etiologies for a thickened endometrium on ultrasound in patients with abnormal uterine bleeding, and how to recognize those diagnoses sonographically.
Learning Objectives:
Discuss normal endometrial anatomy and how this correlates with the sonographic appearance of the endometrium throughout the menstrual cycle.
List the most common reasons for a thickened endometrium on ultrasound, and given a patient with abnormal uterine bleeding, be able to recognize those diagnoses sonographically.
