My name is Priscilla Machado, MD, FAIUM. I'm a Research Assistant Professor from the Department of Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University located in
Philadelphia, PA. My office e-mail is: priscilla.machado@jefferson.edu.As a radiologist I have been directly involved in ultrasound imaging for over 18 years, both in patient clinical care as well as in the research and development of ultrasound imaging. My experience in both clinical and research settings is especially useful in translating technology developments from the laboratory to the bedside. I have specifically distinguished myself as a clinically oriented researcher who is able to identify novel clinical potential in new technology and offer development guidance to steer advancements towards areas of clinical need, since my clinical background allows me to better match the clinical needs with the ultrasound imaging technology to provide a better patient care.
